Charter Centennial Presentation** (1991)
A look at the history of Rice from the drawing up of the charter in 1891.  Written by history professor John Boles, this was originally a 12-projector slide show before it was re-formatted and transferred to video.  As late as 2004, this was still being used (with minor updates) for new employee orientation.

* These two films were sponsored by the Association of Rice Alumni, written by Rice alumna Grace Leake Watts, and produced by Shad E. Graham.  Graham was an award-winning New York documentary filmmaker who came to Texas as a representative for Fox Movietone News.  He married Rice Alumna Ruth McLain, who was a driving force behind the production of these programs.
** Produced and directed by Doug Killgore, Wiess ’69
